New UVic Program Brings 2D and 3D Game Graphics Training Together
This program combines content from its existing 2D and 3D offerings into a single, three‑week format.
UVic’s Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science has introduced a new combined micro-credential focused on 2D and 3D graphics for video games. The program brings together content from its existing 2D and 3D offerings into a single, three‑week format, covering topics such as image processing, Fourier techniques, and 3D development using Unity and Unreal Engine.
The combined package is designed to provide learners with a broader skill set across both areas while simplifying registration into one program.
Participants who complete the program receive a UVic micro-certificate.
